#13. A Trip to Dunkirk?

How I have used wild birds sound from Dunkirk in Last Stand Backgrounds

I was thinking of taking a trip to Dunkirk to find the right place to have some field recordings on the beach, unfortunately this was not possible due to COVID19 restrictions.

I needed to think outside of the box.

So, whilst browsing and researching for the right ambience samples, going through many sound libraries, I came across ​www.xeno-canto.org​.

This website is designed to share recordings of sounds of wild birds from all across the world.

(slow motion whoosh sound!!!) Brace yourself, lads, It’s a gold mine!

The only drawback was having noisy mp3 quality recordings only, however nothing that Izotope RX could not resolve!

In the end they seated very well among Last Stand background layers.
