#15. I Got a New Script!!! 'Oxtail'
Working on a new fantastic project: Oxtail by Joshua Reeves.
This time I’ll be the audio effects and dialogue supervisor.
It’s a very intriguing modern comedy, where some Jamaican reggae beat is required.
I just had the first script reading, there are some good points of tension and release and some key transitions with awkward silences where I could play with subliminal sounds a little.
I’m loving it, there is a plot twist, and everything opens up after a big monologue.
Loved that everybody is wearing a mask, metaphorically speaking and Joshua script provides a massive insight on social classes, cultural integration, identity and the fear of being judged.
Next Week 1st meeting with the director.
I need to ask him whether he wants diegetic music or not, I’d like to have a radio player effect in a selected apartment corner?!!
We will see!
